Dog Training & Workshops
We offer a range of training workshops that take place at the salon weekday evenings and One to One obedience training in your home or at the salon.
Home Grooming Workshop –
Grooming should be a natural and enjoyable experience for the owner and their dog. Some dogs however hate to be groomed, and often will struggle and attempt to bite their owner. This makes grooming a chore that both the owner and the dog do not enjoy. We will teach you practical exercises that will help you to build trust with your dog. Demonstrate which tools to use and their correct use. The workshop includes light refreshments and training booklet. Follow up home visits and salon familiarisation program are available if required.
Me & My Dog Workshop –
Becoming a dog owner for the first time is an exciting experience. This workshop will help new owners get the most out of the relationship with their dog. The workshop covers 3 topics:
Home grooming –
How to maintain a healthy coat between salon grooming, using the correct grooming tools and how to use them.
Health and diet –
How to examine your dog for potential health issues, parasites and how to manage your dogs diet correctly.
Managing unwanted behaviour –
How to manage behaviour you do not want such as lead pulling, barking and jumping up at visitors.
The workshop includes Light refreshments and training booklet. One to One basic training is recommended to follow this workshop.

One to One basic obedience training –
Designed to fit in with your lifestyle, our trainer can come to your home to teach you and your dog basic commands and obedience in a gentle and fun way. A training booklet is provided including exercises allowing the whole family to join in. The training is split into as many sessions as you need, with a consultation in your home or at the salon prior to training.
Prices –
Workshops £24 (approx 1 hour 30min)
One to One training £25 (per session. Book 3 sessions for £70)
Salon familiarisation is £5 (per hour session)
